X-Cite TETREM™

X-Cite TETREM™

The X-Cite TETREM™ four-channel LED illumination system delivers the performance and flexibility today’s fluorescence imaging demands. Designed for power, precision, and ease of use, it provides dependable excitation for the most commonly used fluorophores in microscopy. Its compact, cost-effective design makes it an excellent solution for laboratories performing live cell imaging or upgrading from mercury or metal halide light sources.

Equipped with the new X-Cite smartDIAL™ controller, TETREM offers intuitive operation through a clean, modern interface that allows precise manual control of all four channels.

KEY FEATURES

Power Where It Counts

Engineered to meet the requirements of most fluorescence applications, the X-Cite TETREM covers four key spectral bands for reliable excitation of dyes including DAPI, FITC, TRITC/mCherry, and Cy5. Two UV LED options—365 nm and 385 nm—provide flexibility to match your preferred DAPI excitation filter. This design ensures consistent illumination and optimal excitation across a broad range of fluorophores.

Bright, Compact Green Excitation

Advancements in LED technology have made 500–600 nm illumination more powerful than ever. The X-Cite TETREM takes full advantage of these improvements, offering exceptional brightness in a smaller footprint. Its innovative optical design maintains high performance within the “Green Gap,” delivering uniform illumination without compromise.

The broad 500–600 nm range supports fluorophores such as YFP, TRITC, RFP, and mCherry using standard filter sets, while users can further refine spectral output by inserting an excitation filter directly in front of the LED.

Intuitive Control with smartDIAL

The X-Cite smartDIAL controller makes system operation simple and efficient. Large, tactile buttons, illuminated channel indicators, and an OLED display provide immediate visual feedback of wavelength and intensity for all four LEDs.

Each channel can be operated individually or in combination, giving users full control for single- and multiband fluorescence applications. Independent LED adjustment minimizes crosstalk, supports UV-free illumination when needed, and enables fine tuning of intensity to optimize fluorophore excitation or achieve balanced white light output.

Versatile and Reliable for Routine Use

The X-Cite TETREM is a practical illumination solution for everyday fluorescence imaging. With its focus on key excitation wavelengths, individual channel control, and user-friendly operation, it delivers consistent, dependable performance that enhances productivity. Whether used as part of a new microscope setup or as an upgrade from a lamp-based system, TETREM brings efficiency, precision, and reliability to the lab—values that align perfectly with ACCU-SCOPE’s commitment to quality and innovation.

Combining the proven benefits of LED illumination—power, longevity, mercury-free operation, and near-zero maintenance—with four fast-switching, high-brightness LEDs, the X-Cite TETREM™ offers reliable excitation for the most popular fluorophores in a compact, cost-effective system built for performance and value.
