The PathoPix 4K provides four ways to connect to the camera and view/capture images and video.  1) Connect directly to a 4K monitor and use the built-in software for viewing – no PC required!  An attachable HD monitor is optional, or provide your own HDMI-ready monitor.  Easily save images and video directly to a USB flash drive or SD card (not included)  2) Connect to a PC via USB 3.0 and view images with our powerful ALTRAview software for Windows (use ALTRAview LITE for MacOS).  3) Connect to the LAN via Ethernet and view images on a LAN-connected PC using ALTRAview (MacOS not supported).  4) Attach the included 5G WiFi adapter and use a mobile device with the ALTRAview mobile app (Android and iOS) to stream live video right to your device!  The PathoPix 4K delivers video over either HDMI or USB at a fast 60fps.

An 8.3MP Sony STARVIS™ IMX585 color CMOS sensor is at the heart of the PathoPix 4K.  Featuring a true 4K UHD aspect ratio (3840×2160), rolling shutter and back illumination for outstanding sensitivity (5970mv at 1/30s), the PathoPix4K delivers high resolution, video-rate live images with superb color rendition.

With our optional, attachable OLED monitor, you can open more space around your microscope.  The attachable monitor provides enhanced ergonomics by allowing a more natural viewing position of the sample. For stand-alone operation without the need for a PC, use the built-in software to control the camera settings, image acquisition, and perform measurements (requires a USB mouse, included).

Download the AccuView mobile app (Android or iOS) to get started.  Only a few steps are required the first time you connect:

1. Insert the WiFi adapter into the USB 3.0 port on the camera.
2. Power up the camera.
3. Connect to the camera’s WiFi network.
4. Launch the AccuView mobile app.
